  Carbon Lamp RSide.JPG - CARBON OIL MINER - Tin and brass lamp known as the Carbon Oil Miner, unmarked, 2 1/4 in. tall cylindrical font, 1 7/8 in. base dia., 1 1/4 in. high small dia. brass wick tube, overall height is 3 7/8 in., ex-Bob Guthrie collection (The Carbon Oil lamp is another of the mysterious oil wick lamps about which nothing is known.  It was offered in the Logan-Gregg Hardware Company Catalog in 1905 but the manufacturer, type of fuel and the origin of the Carbon Oil name are unknown.)
